Looking to participate in grassroots advocacy in your community? Passionate about social justice, the separation of church and state, and local advocacy but don’t know how to get involved?

The Latinx Humanist Alliance and the American Humanist Association, in partnership with the Midwest Academy, are hosting a two day virtual grassroots activism 101 training on Friday Oct 1, 2021 from 5:00 PM ET- 6:30 PM ET and Saturday Oct 2, 2021 from 2:00 PM ET – 3:30 PM ET.

This virtual and interactive training is open to grassroots organizers of all levels but is especially for those who are at the beginning of their activism journey. The two day training will introduce you to grassroots advocacy at the local level and will be led by an experienced trainer from the Midwest Academy. To maximize the interactive element of the event, space is limited therefore make sure to register today!

Cost: This training will be $15 dollars for the two day training. The second event builds off the first so it is important to only sign up if you are available for both sessions.

If the registration amount is inaccessible for you we have a handful of tickets set aside for free and reduced slots. If you are interested in a free or reduced registration, email mdelao@americanhumanist.org before you register for the event.

This event is open to anyone passionate about social justice and secular advocacy. You do not have to be part of the Latinx Humanist Alliance to participate.

We hope to see you there!
